We are a Hudson Valley based hospitality group. We are rooted in fire, flavor, and connection. Inspired by the warmth of the brasa a glowing ember at the center of a gathering we create experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways.
We offer everything from intimate private culinary experiences to full-service catering and restaurant consulting. Whether we are cooking in your home, producing a celebration, or guiding a restaurant, our work is grounded in care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Shaped by the seasons and the agricultural richness of the local surroundings, our approach honors quality ingredients, open-fire traditions, and genuine hospitality. We believe great food is only part of the story. How people feel at the table and how we work with them matters just as much.

Gabriel Salazar
Born and raised in Venezuela, Gabriel studied at the Culinary Institute of Caracas before training in Spain at the three Michelin-starred restaurant Martín Berasategui.
He went on to spend ten years in New York City, working in acclaimed kitchens including Hospoda, The Elm, The Standard Grill, The Knickerbocker Hotel, The Four Horsemen, Sauvage, and Maison Premiere. While in the city he refined his technique and deepened his commitment to ingredient-driven cooking.
Now based in the Hudson Valley, Gabriel is currently the Executive Chef at Inness and recently founded Brasa Hospitality. He wants to bring his experience in vegetable forward cooking, seasonal cuisine, and thoughtful service to private culinary experiences, events, and restaurant consulting.
